When you create a Ratr account, we collect your name, email address, date of birth, and gender. You may also provide a profile photo and bio.

Photos and scans

When you use our AI scanning features, you upload facial and body photos. These images are processed to generate your scores, metrics, and personalized recommendations. Photos are encrypted in transit and at rest.

Usage data

We collect information about how you interact with the app, including features used, courses viewed, scan frequency, and session duration. This helps us improve the product and personalize your experience.

Device information

We collect device type, operating system version, app version, and anonymous device identifiers for analytics and crash reporting.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide AI-powered facial and body analysis
• Generate personalized improvement recommendations
• Track your transformation progress over time
• Deliver expert courses and coaching content
• Enable community features and social interactions
• Send relevant notifications about your progress
• Improve and optimize the Ratr experience
• Prevent fraud and ensure platform safety

AI Analysis & Photos

Your photos are analyzed by our proprietary AI models to measure facial symmetry, body composition, and other appearance metrics. Analysis results are stored as numerical data associated with your account.

We do not sell your photos. Photos are used solely for generating your analysis and are not shared with third parties for advertising or any other purpose. You may delete your photos and associated analysis data at any time from within the app.

Data Sharing

We share your information only in the following limited cases:

• Service providers — trusted partners who help us operate the service (cloud hosting, analytics, payment processing). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.
• Community features — if you post publicly or share progress, that content is visible to other users as you configure it.
• Legal requirements — when required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of Ratr and its users.

We do not sell personal information to advertisers or data brokers.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on encrypted servers with industry-standard security measures. We use TLS encryption for all data in transit and AES-256 encryption for data at rest. Access to user data is strictly limited to authorized personnel.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access and download your personal data
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your account and associated data
• Opt out of non-essential communications
• Request data portability
• Withdraw consent for data processing

Children's Privacy

Ratr is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we discover that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will promptly delete it.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of Ratr after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
